Does any of this sound familiar?
- Unexpected tax bills: Corporation Tax or personal tax arriving with no warning and no time to prepare the cash.
- Late information: Accounts finished months after year end, when the figures are too old to act on.
- Poor communication: Emails that go unanswered and a different person every time you call.
- No forward planning: Salary, dividends and pensions only discussed once the year has already closed.
Proactive, not once a year
- Understand the company: We start with ownership, goals, cash needs and risks, not only last year's accounts.
- Keep records current: We agree how bookkeeping and software are kept up to date so the numbers support decisions.
- Review every quarter: A scheduled conversation about performance, cash, upcoming liabilities and what is changing.
- Plan before deadlines: Director remuneration and other legitimate planning is discussed while there is still time to act.
Quarterly reviews
- Performance, cash and upcoming tax liabilities
- Salary, dividend and pension mix for directors
- Material changes such as new hires, VAT or investment
- Agreed actions, owners and dates
How your fee is worked out
Fixed monthly fees from £50 + VAT, based on turnover, optional services and bookkeeping volume.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in the monthly fee?
Annual accounts, the Corporation Tax return, the confirmation statement, one director's Self Assessment return (non-MTD), tax planning and access to your adviser. Payroll, VAT, bookkeeping, extra director returns, pensions, CIS and a registered office are optional and priced in your quote.
How is my fee worked out?
Mainly by turnover and the optional services you choose. Bookkeeping is charged per transaction. The quote shows the monthly fee with VAT identified before you commit.
What happens in a quarterly review?
We discuss performance, cash, upcoming liabilities, director remuneration and any changes in the business, then agree next actions. It relies on records being kept reasonably up to date.
Can you take over from my current accountant mid-year?
Yes. We request professional clearance and records from your current accountant and agree with you who files what for the current period.
Can I speak to someone before getting a quote?
Yes. Book a meeting to speak with a qualified tax specialist about your company and the support you need.
Who is this not suitable for?
Complex group structures, international holding companies and businesses that need an audit. Book a meeting and we will point you in the right direction.
